
Archana Iyer completed her graduation in BSc. Psychology from Madras University and is a gold medalist(University Rank 1) in the same. She did her Masters in Social Work & HR also from University of Madras.Her love for psychology took her to work in the field of Psychometrics, where she helped develop Psychometric tools to map behaviour and fitment for people in the corporate world. She also worked in business development and was exposed to both behavioural and sales aspects in the corporate industry.
Her zeal for training and development then took her to work at an NLP based training organization that works on behaviour modification for children, adults and corporate clients using NLP techniques. She trained over 5000 individuals during her tenure. She used NLP extensively as a training tool here. She then worked as a consultant with a leading learning and development firm in Mumbai, where she used her expertise in the field of psychology and HR to suggest relevant training intervention, design content and conduct multiple workshops for clients across various sectors like: IT, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, Insurance, Energy etc. Some of the notable clients include: Accenture, ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Finserve, Reinsurance Group of America, Welspun, Schneider Electric, Akshaya Homes etc. In her tenure here, she also acted as a leadership coach for multiple CXOs and senior leaders.
She next moved to managing the Indian wing of the L&D function for BSH (Bosch) India as Deputy Manager Training, where she planned and executed the training calendar, worked on multiple L&D projects, was chosen as an India representative for Culture change in Asia region (heading the project). She’s also an MBTI certified instructor. She specializes in coaching; designing modules; designing competency frameworks and implementing them etc. Archana has currently trained over 70,000 professionals spending over 15,000 hours in learning interventions.
Archana is an avid reader and takes a special interest in Fiction, Classics, Spiritual growth and Psychology based books. She is an amateur theater artist, a dance enthusiast, a writer. Archana is also a professional and recognized story-teller, in collaboration with Tall Tales (India’s number one story telling platform)
